Priorities

My Commitment to Ward 3: Action and Accountability

Real solutions for the challenges our community faces every day

Priority Areas

🛡️ Community Safety First

Our families deserve to feel safe walking to school, playing in parks, and coming home at night. I will secure more funding for community policing patrols, improve street lighting in dark areas, and implement traffic-calming measures where our children play. Together, we’ll launch a community-wide neighborhood watch program that connects residents with law enforcement.

💰 Transparency & Responsible Taxes

Rising property taxes hurt every household in Ward 3. You deserve to know exactly where your money goes. I’ll push for an online dashboard showing city spending in real-time, fight unnecessary increases, and ensure Ward 3 gets its fair share of city investments. Smart budgeting protects affordability while delivering the services we need.

🚍 Better Transit & Infrastructure

Ward 3 continues to grow, but our transit hasn’t kept up. I’ll fight for Green Line expansion, more frequent bus service connecting all of our Ward 3 communities. Every neighborhood deserves reliable transportation for work, school, and daily life.

⚽ Recreation for All Ages

As someone with a background in dance, I understand how vital recreation is for healthy communities. I’ll ensure new communities like Livingston and Carrington get their promised facilities, expand programs for youth and seniors, and create more accessible spaces where families can gather and children can play.

🚴 Safer Streets & Pathways

Everyone deserves safe routes to schools, parks, and transit stops. I’ll expand bike lanes and pedestrian pathways, add crosswalk improvements at dangerous intersections, and ensure proper snow clearing on sidewalks. Active transportation should be a safe choice, not a risky one.

📢 Real Accountability

You deserve a councillor who answers to you, not special interests. I pledge quarterly town halls in different Ward 3 communities, public explanations for every major vote at City Hall, and direct access through regular office hours. Your voice will shape my decisions.
